New Weather Graphics

The CBS 2 Weather Department began using new weather graphics today at 4:00. The background for many of the graphics has been changed, including the five-day forecast. They now have a graphic titled "The Big Number", which shows the current temperature and current conditions. The wind, humidity and barometer readings are on a separate graphic (they used to be on the "Right Now" map). The maps are blue, and are on top of the Information Network-type, colorful background. The "Right Now" map starts off with the five city boroughs, then widens out to the tri-state area. The weather maps are also different.
